Therapy Services
Healing isn’t one-size-fits-all—and neither is therapy.
Dr. Humphrey specializes in helping adults navigate trauma, anxiety, and identity-related challenges with care, curiosity, and clinical skill. Her approach is deeply individualized, drawing from a range of evidence-based modalities to meet each client where they are. Whether you’re processing recent events or untangling the impact of long-standing trauma, Dr. Humphrey creates a space where insight, growth, and healing can unfold at your pace.
With a foundation in relational, somatic, and cognitive therapies, Dr. Humphrey supports clients in:
Rebuilding a sense of safety and self-trust after trauma
Managing anxiety that disrupts daily life or relationships
Exploring questions of identity, neurodivergence, and belonging
Developing tools for emotional regulation, self-compassion, and resilience
Dr. Humphrey offers affirming care for LGBTQ+ individuals, those in non-traditional relationships, and Veterans facing service-related trauma. Every session is rooted in empathy, respect, and a belief in your capacity for meaningful change.
Accepting New Patients beginning in July 2025 for virtual sessions only.
Group Trauma Therapy
You don’t have to heal alone.
Sequoia Psychology offers structured, evidence-based trauma group therapy grounded in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)—a gold-standard treatment for PTSD and trauma-related symptoms. In a supportive group setting, you'll learn tools to challenge unhelpful beliefs, reduce distress, and reclaim your sense of self.
Group therapy can be a powerful alternative or complement to individual therapy. Many participants find relief not only in the skills they gain, but in the validation and connection that come from being among others who truly understand.
Each CPT group includes:
A structured 12-week program led by Dr. Humphrey
Weekly 90-minute sessions focused on cognitive skill-building and trauma processing
A confidential, respectful, and affirming environment
Clear expectations, take-home exercises, and supportive accountability
Whether you’re new to therapy or returning for deeper work, these groups offer a space to grow, connect, and heal alongside others on similar journeys.
Next cohort starts in January 2026.
